Runaways clips viewable at youtube.com

I'm new to the board, so perhaps everyone here knows this except me. There are over a dozen video clips of The Runaways on youtube. Most are from Japanese concerts, but there are a few others with Joan singing lead.

The clips can be viewed, but as far as I can tell, not downloaded.

Be sure to search on "Runaways" rather than "The Runaways". Although you will get a bunch of other stuff too, over half the clips don't have "the" in the listing.

I just created a youtube group called "Runaways" with all the videos (less a few duplicates) that I could find there.

A little update that might interest you other Runaways fans...

I found a way to save the vids on You Tube ( I have a thing for collecting any footage of The Runaways that I can find! )

Just go to: http://keepvid.com/

It has instructions there, and it is safe, there are no files to download other than what YOU want to save.

HOWEVER you will need a program to play ".flv" ( flash video ) files.

There are also a number of .flv converters out there which will allow you to make .avi or .mpg files out of these vids.

Hi everyone. I'm the person that uploaded the Runaways vids to YouTube. It was my second attempt, the first time I had my account suspended. I had to make the files pretty small, so hence they look like poop. But I hope that everyone that had never seen the japan stuff before enjoyed it!!

Hi Squiggs,
The last time, before you had your "account suspended" there had been discussion about it on another message board.
Like I told you before, I have seen many bootlegs disappear off eBay right after they were mentioned on a message board, so that didn't surprise me.
I am glad your videos are still there, this time, after all the discussion about them here.

Didn't you also have the Cherry Bomb video up there last time? I have never seen that video but I'd like to.
